Max Gousse, CEO  & Co-Founder

A powerhouse in the music industry for over 25 years, Gousse got his start as an A&R Executive at Irving Azoff's Giant records in the early '90s. Gousse has gone out to hold various high level positions with East/West Records, MCA Music Publishing, Epic/Sony Records, Music World Entertainment, & Island Def Jam/Universal. In 2014, he co-founded Artistry Worldwide Management as the "next generation" entertainment company. 

The Los Angeles based business man is best known for producing three of Beyonce's biggest albums, I am...Sasha Fierce, B'Day and The Dreamgirls soundtrackHe has also produced hit projects with Solange, Kelly Rowland, Michele Williams, Ron Isley, YG, B2k & Tydolla$ign.  With well over a decade of experience in the business, Gousse has blazed a trail of success stories that makes him a sought after "advisor to the stars" and a board member of several fledgling music tech companies. 

Timothy Thompson, Co-Founder, Board Member

Lead investor in Cross Creek Pictures and it's affiliated funds. Mr. Thompson is a member of the Board of Directors of The Cross Group, an offshore oilfield services provider. He has been associated with the company since its inception in 1997, serving in various capacities, including as Senior Vice President of Business Development. He is also a principal shareholder in The Investment Group, Inc., a privately owned investment company with ownership interests in operating companies, real estate, and other capital ventures. Previously, Thompson served as President of Continental Financial Group.. Inc., a home mortgage lender and financial services company.

In 2009, along with his son Tyler Thompson and producer Brian Oliver, he founded Cross Creek Pictures with the goal of developing, financing and producing a strong slate of feature films with "A-list" talent and broad market appeal. To date, Cross Creek has produced and financed 12 films and has grossed over $1 billion at the world wide box office.


Native of Houma, Louisiana, Mr. Thompson is a 4th generation oil and gas business executive. In 2013, Mr. Thompson co-founded Gousse/Thompson Music, LLC, and played an instrumental role in structuring and managing its joint venture with Artistry Entertainment, which has been the driving force behind the production and marketing of Kieran Alleyne's 2014 EP entitled "Breaking Good". Mr. Thompson began his career as an executive at Cross Creek Pictures while enrolled at the Los Angeles Film School.

Laurie venning, board member

An accomplished businessman with over 25 years of Senior Executive experience and business leadership. Laurie Venning is the original founder of Regent Energy Group Ltd. and its technology. Mr. Venning has vast experience in the fabrication and manufacture of oil field drilling equipment and sand control manufacturing equipment. 

Mr. Venning is currently the Founder, Chairman and CEO of the VennWest Group of Companies, which include VennWest Global Technologies Inc., VennTertainment Corp. and EnerTrade International Ltd. The VennWest Group has a number of interests in the movie, television and music entertainment business. Through its investment in Distraction Wear Inc., the VennWest Group is uniquely positioned in the fashion industry. In addition, VennWest's subsidiary, EnerTrade, provides international oil, gas and energy trading solutions to various customers, clients and you counterparts primarily based in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.

Maxwell Benson, Head Of Creative

Having over 14 years in the entertainment industry Benson has held titles such as Tour Manager, Director, Show Creator, Concert Producer, Photographer and Videographer. With his versatility and dedication to the perfection of his craft, he quickly gained notoriety for his talent behind the lens and in the board room.

Benson has captured or worked with Beats By Dre, Coachella, Respect Magazine, Red Bull, Travis Scott, A Tribe Called Quest, Wu Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers, School Boy Q, Action Bronson, Outkast and the list goes on. Maxwell Benson has the rarity of possessing both a business and creative mind, making any endeavor he ventures into successful. 

Monica Payne, Executive Vice President of Talent Management

Payne has over 20 years professionally in the Music Industry. Starting her career as a member of the first New Jill Swing group called The Gyrlz signed by Andre Harrell to the UPTOWN imprint. The Gyrlz penned their entire debut album and were produced by the Creator of New Jack Swing, Teddy Riley and Kyle West. Their biggest claim to fame was landing a spot as the opening act on the biggest R&B tour in the country… The Heart Break Tour alongside New Edition, Bobby Brown and Al B. Sure. Shortly after the tour ended, the trio became a duo…Terri & Monica. The hip hop infused singer/songwriter duo released two albums on Epic/Sony records and sang background and penned songs for acts such as Mary J. Blige, Aaliyah, Soul 4 Real, Heavy D., LL Cool J, MC Lyte, Digable Planets, Total, Chris Rock to name a few. 

Monica co-created one of the most notable all female production/promotion teams in Los Angeles, called The HONEY Collective, endorsed by the Legendary Artist PRINCE.... Payne also created two nightlife brands in LA that has become Hollywoods most notable weekly parties, highlighting some of LA's finest DJ's and talent... Cherry Poppin' Wednesday's at The Room and Redlight Saturday's at the famous Sayers Club in Hollywood. 

Payne served time as a young Executive for Babyface’s label Soda Pop Ent. distributed by Island Def Jam. There is where she met young Songstress/Actress V. Bozeman and began her journey as a Music Manager.

Michael asante, Global A&R

Michael Asante is an established A&R executive based in Toronto, Canada and Los Angeles, California who currently runs and operates The A&R Report out of Toronto, Los Angeles, United Kingdom, Germany, Atlanta and New York. The A&R Report is a music industry tool for the latest in upcoming talent worldwide. 

First starting off as an industry newsletter for select executives, The A&R Report has branched into showcases, seminars, workshops and interviews from some of the top music industry professionals in the world. While Michael's emphasis is solely on focusing on finding talent, he's amassed a subscriber list of almost 10,000 professionals in addition to a following of over 90,000 on Twitter. Michael's primary goal is to connect music industry executives to independent artists worldwide. While connecting artists with music business professionals, Michael strives to provide artists with many platforms to assist with showcasing their new music while growing their fan base. In addition, Michael is currently serving as Global A&R for new label Artistry/Universal and is looking for the next generation of superstars.
